ur gonna laugh, but my best all around is a straight razor i picked up at antique shop couple yrs ago. like new condition an got it for 10.00. stays sharp for a long time and easy to put an edge back on. just slightly smaller than a reg. size straight

Use herbert and weatherman daily. I like the weight and the edge keeping ability of Gerber. The only time I have had to replace one is for losing it not loss of function.
