Well that's a relief Frank as I thought for a moment I might be suffering from BUMS (Bi-coloured Uneven Moustache Syndrome. The only known cure for this is to smoke whilst standing on one's head whilst humming 'Rule Britannia' ::

I haven't notice any color difference in mine, but the way I smoke I clench right and blow left. You clench left and blow left?

7ach, I don't clench at all though I do hold the pipe to my mouth for extended periods of time just breath smoking. That is likely the culprit.
