I am sitting on the back porch, watching the Texas sunset, sipping Buffalo Trace and enjoying my sample of rsuninv's secret homemade recipe, "Smokey Bastard." Wow. you nailed this one, Brother. It has a smokey flavor that seems to fall somewhere between mesquite and pinon....which for me is nearly as good as if it tasted like beef. It has something else that I couldn't quite pinpoint...but I liked it. Almost a rosemary-sage smell. I obviously suck at decribing sensations of the palate, but I do know one thing....this is a wonerful mix. I give it a hardy two thumb up, and yes...I'd buy it, if it was available. Good job, T. Many thanks! :puffpipe:

Smokey Bastard is super good. I wonder how it pairs with Arrogant Bastard. I may have to partake this holiday weekend.
