Just throwing a suggestion for those who are looking for robust but affordable pipe lighter,got this China Imco6300 from Aliexpress
Wondering if back in the days this very model has ever been originally manufactured in Austria , heavy weight solid metal construction with different color options

Looks nice. I just ordered some of the classic 6700 IMCO lighters from Ali Express, after ordering some from eBay and realizing that the ebay people just order from Ali Express and raise the price lol. Anyway got a few for gifts and one for myself.

I just scanned through the German Wikipedia article on IMCO and it seems to me there was a gas lighter type G77 which should resemble your model.

I have a NOS Imco which is great. The flame canister comes out and it makes it easy to light your pipe. It also doesn't seem to leak fuel as badly as a Zippo.

I've got a couple of lighters from AliExpress so far. Unfortunately, they all started either leaking or not remembering the flame setting and producing both massive and barely existent flames after a while. I hope you'll have a better experience with yours. I'm still trying to find a budget pipe lighter which is long-term reliable.

Its only a few bucks more to get a legitimate Austrian NOS one from eBay. Mine was from a seller in Greece.

I had an IMCO lighter from Austria 25-30 years ago. They were only in the silver and black colors. Good lighter for a long time.
