Are these tins built for cellaring? I imagine the manufacturer stores them like this but if you had several pounds of expensive tobacco (aren’t they all) in 2 oz cardboard tins would you keep them sealed or open all and jar them?
Most are metal or at least have a metallic liner. What tins are cardboard? Are these tins built for cellaring? I imagine the manufacturer stores them like this but if you had several pounds of expensive tobacco (aren’t they all) in 2 oz cardboard tins would you keep them sealed or open all and jar them?
I’m not familiar with them but I can only assume there is a metallic lining.Seattle Pipe Club, etc...

I can't really say. With me, that's kind of like asking "how many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop". Hypothetically speaking, I'd like to say years, but I haven't built up enough reserves as of yet to do that. All I can offer is a weak "as long as possible". You guys have put enough fear of the impending "tobaccopalypse" in me that I will be working diligently on building my cellar.Define long term.
