You could also put the bags inside of a mylar bag and seal well.
This is starting to look like the answer to preserving my embarrassingly large hoard of tobacco.


They say you can use a hot iron to seal them, or an impulse sealer.

Just make sure your Mylar is at least 7mil grade. I don’t have an affordable supply of metalised bags here so I’ve had to use micro/multi channel equivalents.
