Yup.

It looks like when the comments drifted toward unfavorable territory regarding the specimens up for auction, the thread was shut down "invisibly".

A comment was finally added, but the following msg keeps blocking me no matter what I do, how I format, who I quote, or etc.

There is no feature to "soft lock" a thread, or "invisibly" close it.

Whatever is happening, George, is on your end. Sorry I can't be of more help. I did look inside the backend to double check, and there are no restrictions on your account.
