I live on top of a large hill which help for tornadoes but we do have a few spots up here where the water hold and can be challenging to get a garden in. Unfortunately this year will be the first in a long time I will not have a garden due to health reasons. My wife will still do her raised beds but I usually do almost 2 acres of veggies that won’t happen this year
I always thought floods were a low-country thing, coastal, estuarial, river beds and plains. Then I saw a downpour in the mountains. Looked like a vertical white water river. You don't want to get caught in the wrong place.
This weather is phenomenal. Along with excessive rain and tornadoes, these 90f days here already have made my root crops and greens start to bolt already. And, my peas have stunted. I probably won’t have anything from my winter crops.
