Listening to the Radio Show on your Android smartphone

If you have an android smartphone and want to use it to listen to the radio show podcast, follow these steps:
1.)If you don't already have one, install any podcast player from the Google Play store on your phone(there are plenty, just pick the one you prefer).
2.)Create a new podcast and manually enter the podcast url(If your player has a podcast search feature, you can try it, but it will probably not detect the pipesmagazine.com feed - the few I tried did not detect anything). I got the podcast URL by subscribing to it in iTunes. After subscribing to it, I right clicked on the podcast icon, and selected "copy podcast url" from the menu. I pasted this into Notepad so I could see the whole url, and manually typed it into my podcast player as a new podcast.
If you don't have iTunes or don't want to subscribe to the podcast just for the url, here it is:

It works great for me as I listen to podcasts on my phone all the time.

Took me a minute to find one for "free" to download. I used "rat poison" pod cast for droid. But it worked.
Now I can finally hear it when its happening...I hope.

Does anyone have trouble accessing the Pipesmagazine website from their Android phone? I can't even get the homepage to load. All I get is an error screen asking me if I am the administrator of the site. I have also tried clicking into forum topics from Google search on my phone, and I get a different error message saying I don't have permission to access the site.

Ok, I did some testing. I am using the Opera mini browser for Android, because I hate the one that came with the phone. Opera will not pull up the site at all. The original browser does. So I will have to use the Android browser for this site.

I use Podkicker(free). It works really well for me. It will automatically refresh and find the latest podcast as well so you don't have to manually search for it each week.
No problems with the website either.

That's pretty cool Ronin.
You guys should know that what Ronin61 posted is an alternative to using iTunes to listen to the show after it is over and later becomes a podcast. It will not work to listen to the show live.
That XML feed is what iTunes uses to distribute the actual MP3 file.
The posted link above is not the MP3 file, but has meta data about all the past shows.
The link to each individual show is unique, and they can be found if you look at the code inside the XML file.
I have an Android that is over two years old and I can open the web browser and listen to the live show right on the PM website and it sounds great.
