see. Nothing wrong with knowing what you like. Well unless you have taste like Cosmic but....
Took years to get there though. I'm primarily focused on the rusticated IMPs right now. Putting together four for a seasonal set. Currently have Spring and Fall but have my eye on the ones for Summer and Winter.

I feel like whenever I get new stuff, pipes or tobacco, I come here and just sort of casually cram that news into five or six threads. Whether it's related or not, so I'll just post a pic of this humble seconds pipe. It's a Carlo Duca Lumberman, which is a Savinelli off brand. The reason I mention it is because I've found that I really really appreciate flake cut tobacco and this pipe is absolutely perfect for it. Narrow and tall, tapering drastically towards the bottom. I've yet to find a better Dublin chamber on any pipe I've looked at. Can't even find a comparable one! I just bought a Medico Dublin and the chamber is nearly the same width at the bottom as it is at the top. Hardly a Dublin chamber in my books.

Anyway that's it's. I'm gonna go now before I mention ODF again...

I have some very old inexpensive pipes;
I have some mid range pipes.
Some are newer;
Most are briar, one is Cherry, and three of them are meerschaums;
Three of them are churchwardens;
I apparently really like Rhodesians, bulldogs, and apples;
I use to like full bend, but most of them from the first line I mentioned.

That about sums it up.

Oh, apparently I went to Ireland too many times and that explains the number of Petes in my collection.

Yesterday, I broke a Pete from Belfast, an 03 Sea Mist.

I will not miss it.

Easy one for me as I only own three pipes at the moment!

1. Sara Eltang Billiard - A twinge of disappointment when opening this proved unfounded, it's quite small and dainty weighing in at only 21 grams but it's a superb smoker. The walls are thin but it's quite cool when smoking. Bowl is enough for a 60 minute smoke for me, which has been perfect for smoking Englishes during the winter.

2. P. Jeppesen tomato - Larger bowl, about 90-120 min smoke for me. Smokes great, balances great. The walls are thick but it's drilled deep so the wood at the heel is thin, which may prove dangerous. Smoking Virginias in this so far.

3. Stanwell shape 140 quarter bent Dublin - I've had some issues with this, a small defect in the stem catches pipe cleaner fluff like it's nobodies business which clogged the stem. When cleaned it smokes great as well though. This has seen all types of blends and performs quite well with them but is now dedicated to aromatics.

This is my ranking of the pipes but in all honesty the preference in each step is small and they are all great pipes. When smoking each I usually think - "Hey this is pretty awesome, I should smoke this more!"

I’ve got...too many pipes, and I like them all. Right now, though, my little ready rack has 6 Al Pascia Curvys, 2 Big Ben Barbados 647s, and 2 Kirsten Ds. The rest are in my closet. Mostly Briarworks, Big Ben, Chacom, Morgan Bones, and a few MM cobs.
