Any way to get rid of this? Is it the cheap bulk from the B&M i smoke? Doesnt discourage me from the pipe as it was way worse with cigars, but new to pipes and didnt expect it i guess

Brush teeth and use mouthwash then fill a bowl and enjoy!

I use a tongue scraper after I brush, but if I understand you right, this is occurring after you smoke a bowl? I have found that Virginia tobaccos tend to leave an ashen taste in the mouth unless I use a clean pipe, and I usually smoke my Virginia first out in the morning. You might try a different type of tobacco than the one you are smoking now, and see if it is different afterwards.

I'd go with a mouthwash for sure. I recommend Biotene. I had read about it being a good rememdy for tongue bite but I've also found that it does a great job at issues like you are describing. It's made to remedy dry mouth and is very gentle unlike a harsh alcohol based wash such as Listerine.

I use Biotene after every bowl I smoke. It helps with the dry mouth and tongue bite. I would recommend trying some better tobacco, the good stuff really isn't that much more than cheap stuff when it comes down to cost per bowl.
