While idling, this popped into my head. Thinly sliced det cord on top of the tobacco! Guarantee ignition!

Ahahah, that'd be a nice feature. Self ignition cartridges in a pipe, that'd be cool

Silly question.....there are actually people that will stand in the rain without an umbrella?

If you're under an umbrella, no need to turn your pipe upside down. If you're not under an umbrella in rain heavy enough to put out your pipe, you might have more pressing issues to be dealt with...just saying.

I wear a wide brimmed hat in sun or rain. Oh, and I can't stand umbrellas; I've nearly had my eye poked out on too many occasions.

I don’t suffer from mental illness, I enjoy every blessed minute of it.

Was just thinking of a rain-blend.

Mix one tin of your favorite tobacco with the severed heads from numerous books of paper matches!

This way… you’ll get to enjoy surprise flare-ups that’ll keep that tobacco lit ?

Some may point out that the flavor profile may be altered. While true, it may also improve certain blends— give it more body— possibly take away some of the sweetness, while also providing a mottled appearance to egg-shaped meers.
