Update:

I’ve been using these lighters almost exclusively for the past month. They’ve been unfailingly wonderful. One strike light, very good gas regulation, and they seem to have a pretty big gas tank. I went and ordered two more, in different styles. They’re about a third again larger than the Dunhill Rollagas or IM Old Boy, but they are a pleasure to hold and use. Killer deal at $25 OTD.
I put one in the trunk of my car when I need more rear wheel traction....
But seriously, these are spectacular. I also ordered two more. They are the most massive lighters I've ever had, but the heft and size of the tank are comforting, and after a month, all good.

The prices are rising on these lighters, as well they should, given the apparent quality. But even at $35 or $40, they are still a bargain. I ordered extra flints and strikers, just to be on the safe side, should these lighters suddenly disappear from eBay.

Just ordered one myself. This hobby is far too vast. The collectible aspect is dangerous. I found an old lighter that my grandfather had when he was a pipe smoker. Once I get the brass all polished up I'll post a picture.

Love to see photos of old and treasured stuff.
Strikers- Never replaced one- is it easy? I used to replace spark plugs and gap distributors back in the days when you could even see them.

Sadly the ribbed ones are SOL at the link, but I did save the seller (97.9% positive FB & all) in case anything new turns up. I like my Vector, but one of these knockoffs for cheap wouldn't bother me at all. :)

I'm wondering how well this lighter works. Anyone have one?
It's on Ebay right now for...$300,000. Shippings free.

If this is lighter porn, that's some gonzo kink orgy stuff. That's the fantasy my fantasies have when I'm not using them.
I have a modest collection of small, thin lighters with tampers as part of the case. The Flames Pocket Pipe is my absolute favorite.

Of course not. I NEED two or three lighters for every station I leave them, car, golf bag, TV room, pipe room. And a couple more are on their way as back ups. Or maybe they'll move into the front rotation....

Work? That's a good question...by work did you mean by impressing your peers from the country club... or floating willy-nilly about the estate, upsetting the pets and children?
