Hi all, I'm a new pipe smoker and have been lurking on the forums for a while. I have gained so much from reading all your posts and comments.

I'm keen to purchase an estate pipe but the stem was described as lightly oxidised. It looks a bit dull to me but I was wondering if there is a way to restore the shine/lustre? Or is there any oxidation that I'm missing here. Would appreciate any advice! Thank you!

It doesn't look that bad really. Some type of wax polish will help. I'm sure you'll find appropriate answers here, I'm sorry I cannot offer more Info except I'd also recommend a buffer which you probably don't have. There are many tips available on the forum that won't need a buffer. You'll have to do a search.
