Wanted to include Key Largo, but I put it on the flake list, and the Latakia isn't the predominant flavor there. Plus a whole bucket load of other blends that should be in there.....this was a hard one!

I'm almost exclusively a Latakia smoker. I would LOVE to try Frog Morton Cellar, but being so popular, can't get ahold of a tin yet. Some others to note are-

-- still in the process of evaluating which Lats I prefer, on the deck next and quietly awaiting to be opened are MM 965, 10 Ruskies, Old Ironsides, Dan London 1000, H&H Larry's Blend and Westminster... I've been having much fun exploring the Dark Side, I would have never predicted this swerve because at first I was completely repulsed by Latakia!

Since results haven't been tabulated yet, I'll put in my two cents:
1. Black House

2. Nightcap

3. SG Commonwealth

4. Frog Morton

5. Boswell's Northwoods
I haven't tried many of the other blends listed here either, but I don't think anything could unseat Black House from the #1 spot on my list right now.

I've only tried two latakia blends. First (and one of my first blends to try ever) is Hearth and Home's Black House. Recently I've tried The Smoker Ltd's Wise Fox, and I really like it. I will definitely purchase more. Apparently, Pipesandcigars.com struck a deal with the original blender. And they got the recipe and are blending it themselves now. Being that I've only tried two latakia blends, perhaps I haven't much to say as far as how it compares to others mentioned in this thread, but I like it, and I would recommend giving it a try. http://www.pipesandcigars.com/smwifoxpito1.html#.UmCCxlCsgk0
