I got that trick from Jack Peterson from Sterling/1776 Tobacco - he said that you can keep tobacco indefinitely in a pop cooler with a glass of water in it - kind of a do-it-yourself large Humidor. So far - it has been doing great for well over a year. My tobaccos stay at a perfect humidity with no drying out, mold etc. :)
