I noticed after posting those last photos that @crashthegrey was probably just observing and wasn't competing in the Slow Smoke Contest as he was undoubtedly smoking a Greywoodie or Kaywoodie and this year's pipe was a straight Chacom.

Les, who introduced me to the Christopher Morley Pipe Club, has an encyclopedic knowledge of tobaccos and a high refined palate. I'm delighted, but not surprised, at this achievement.

I sat out this year but came in to help officiate as VP of the UPCA, but am thrilled that you got a shot of me. Definitely smoking a Greywoodie Oom Paul. Lol.

Glad the winners were clean shaven, I came in second at the last local inter club contest. I think the winner cheated maybe because of his beard fur !

I think I can get a photo of the stand made for the 3rd place winner, since a buddy of mine, Allan Boyd, won it. I see him a couple times a month. Would that suffice?

Basic rules
Everyone gets the same: pipe- amount of tobacco-matches-tamper. You can char light or light and go. No relights. Last man smoking wins.
