I don't own one, and have no intention of purchasing one...but for those outt here that own one, is there any difference in the smoke? what's the advantage of the leather?

Could be for protection from banging it around too much ?? Some guys throw their pipes on the counters or dashboards or are just dropping it on concrete....might prevent chipping or marking ??

I don't know for sure...just brain storming. :puffy:

I have a Leather Clad Medico Bulldog in my collection, it smokes great and even looks classey when polished, also have a snake skin covered pipe that smokes hot and looks crap, this lives in my junk box,
