I managed to only get into trouble on Saturdays, and....
I survived to have one more opportunity to get in trouble for yelling at the television. :D

As a Michigan State alum, I have only one thing to say:
WHY NOT US?
We're 12-1. Big Ten champs. Why is Auburn better than MSU, other than the computers and a bunch of subjective voters say so? The BCS is a fraud. (I've been saying that for years, however. Every other level of NCAA football manages a playoff.)
That said, I'm reveling in it.

@ Jud, don't the raters take into consider the schedule that teams play? Maybe that's why MSU is getting short shrift. I dunno. 8O

Yeah, that's the thing - it's subjective. It's not just because my boys aren't at the top; I have been a staunch opponent of the BCS for years. Let's do a real playoff, just like every other division does. There's 10 conferences; set up a 16 team playoff - 10 conference champs, plus an objective method for filing the other 6 slots. Maybe one loss teams who didn't win the conference. That's just one idea.

Hey, My hometown Baylor Bears ain't too shabby either. 11-1, winners outright of the Big-12, number one ranked offence in the nation, etc. In College Football in particular, a good offense beats a good defense every time. Michigan State and Auburn would be no match for my Beloved Bears. :wink:
And now, we're playing some pussycat team from some little conference in the Fiesta Bowl that has no business being in the BCS. Oh well, Baylor will just pad its stats while ringing up another V.
I'm off before the arrows strike me.

My wife is crazy about two teams. Through thick and thin, she loves them both. Now it may be that FSU and Auburn will face each other for the national title. I can't wait to see her at game time!
