Latest Kaywoodie Acquisition

Couldn't find the Kaywoodie Collector's thread so I'm starting my own. Damn search engine.

Anyway, here it is, a Shape # 14 Bent Billiard Flame Grain Kaywoodie. Still needs a bit of touching up, but I got most of the major grime off. It has a couple dents in it, but then, so do I. Was heavily caked and the metal shank screw attachment was sticking out a couple millimeters. The stinger had fused to it. Anyway, cleaned it off and oiled the stinger and used it to screw the shank attachment back into its proper place. It clocked very well. $15.00 including shipping. :P

There you go. Nice get. -- what are the holes near the stem/shank junction?
Helpful hint.....on the right upper 2/3's of the Forum page under "Hot Tags" you'll see Kaywoodie. Tap it and a bunch of Kaywoodie stuff comes up.

Those are the dents, they aren't as noticeable in person. Looked like a huge chunk was missing in the ebay pick, but it was just shadow.

That's cool. I sold a Kaywoodie with a dent and not having a light box it looked like the Grand Canyon. Lol. Glad yours worked out.

It's one of my best smokers. Easy draw and everything burns well in it. Really loving bent pipes now.

With a little TLC, that one will smoke as well in another forty years. It's been well maintained.

I have a kaywoodie 14 in white lacquer; but I like yours much more! It is a good shape and smokes well.
