I ended up in a place where I can see all the posts I’ve started...

Scrolling back, I ran across this post. I smoked this pipe a few days ago.

So, while re-corking this has worked well, I noticed it is somewhat loose. I have several sheets of 3/64” Golden Cork, aka Musical Cork, since it’s used for musical instruments, such as flutes, sax, etc.

The granulated cork I used wasn’t the best choice, but it was available locally. I think it is 1/8” thickness, and I placed a ring of Golden Cork behind that to build it up so there would be some tension.

One of these days I’ll order some thicker Golden Cork and redo this.
