Thought I was done buying pipes... apparently not. I wasn't getting along with my peterson 3/4 bent dublin. It was too bent and the 9mm filters fit too loosely and gave a click clack in the stem as I smoked. I still wanted a light bent(ish) pipe but didn't want to spend a ton of money. I ended up with this Rossi Sitting 8636. It's 1/4 bent and filters are a snug fit so they don't click clack or thunk thunk as I draw on it. Also light at 1.5 oz so clenching isn't too bad. I think it's going to be a winner.

Ugh, I'm having flashbacks! I positively despise the click-clack. My first Peterson, a Dublin (also a 9mm, but a full-bent), had that, and it just ruined the whole experience for me. Finally had enough, and traded it away on here, and got a 6mm Sav instead, which filled in nicely. But the memory of that sound dies hard...throw in even the mild case of OCD I have, and it's like Chinese Water Torture. Or, fearing a reprimand from Walter Sobchak, Asian-American H2O victimization.

Ah, but back to the pipe...simple, affordable, smokes well...what more could one want out of a pipe?
