Interesting replies. I like the idea of a Mix and Match jar.....something unique and fun to play with. Thanks for all the info!

I put it all in a jar, including cigar clippings sometimes. Every so often I get bored and I press it into a little plug and age it. No heavy aromatics, though. Everything else is fair game. Sometimes you get broken flake, sometimes you get all ribbon. It is fun.

I often fill a pipe with 2 or 3 layers of different blends,

So whenever the final bit of a tin comes around, it’s just another time when i have a layer of blends in my pie.

I’ve got a “wouldn’t fit” jar. What ever is left in the drying plate after I pack a pipe goes in the wouldn’t fit jar.

I don't add it to another jar or tin, but I will mix it with another blend or single leaf in a small cereal-size bowl. If you do this in a thoughtful way, you can come up with some fine smoking experiences. Usually, I mix anywhere from one to three pipe bowls and smoke the up.
