@JimInks if you really want to make some money at the show, furry cartoon "art" is basically an easy way to print money.

Many furries work in IT and have very well paying jobs. It's not unheard of for commissions to hit $1,000. Most tend to be in the $100-200 range. The, ah, 'explicit' stuff is popular, if you're willing to 'bone' up on dog anatomy.
If I was artistic, I'd consider it. People make a good living off it. I'm not sure how they live with themselves, but whatever pays the bills, right?

As for furries, I never realized it was a thing until my kids mentioned that they saw a few at their highschool.
There’s even a guy in a complete pink bunny suit that rides around town on a motorcycle. Talk about a potential traffic accident waiting to happen,
