I think a lot of the old Avon products must have been big on the Lakeland essences. Every once in a while a thread like this will inspire me to give Ennerdale another chance. I definitely don't hate it, but I don't see many times where I would choose it above so many other tasty blends. Definitely an audience out there so it's gotta tickle someone's taste buds just right.

I was walking past the bath section at Walmart the other day, and I smelled Ennerdale!
It tastes more like gummy bears and good Virginia though. It has a bit of "something else" flavour in it for sure, but if someone were to taste pure unscented soap, and then taste Ennerdale, there would be utterly and absolutely no connection.
I will go to the grave screaming "It's Not Soapy!" if I have to.

It's very interesting, everyone's take on Lakelands. Their taste and aroma of a test blend, which we all smoked (and smelled, Lakeland by God!), is static, yet we find so many ways of thinking and speaking about them. I particularly like the post about root beer and the medicines used by the Japanese, for us the flavor of a popular class of soda but for them, medicine, associated with sickness and thus not enjoyable.
