Kyriazanos Pipes (Pic Heavy)

Hi everybody!
It is time for me to post something instead of reading here!

Two years ago i stambled across this beauty on SPC and grabbed it:


I have never heard of Michail's work before, and i couldnt find much on the net.
This piece is amazing. Light, drilled perfectly ,smokes superbly and a comfort to the eyes!
The way Michail work realy impressed me, so i contacted him for a follow up piece:




And after a while, another:


I requested all of tgis pieces natural stain, fitted with silver. Couldnt be happier.
One day i will complete a set.

Michail is a very talented craftsman, and always happy to talk with fellow pipe lovers about the hobby and more..
Heck, he even has his own vineyard!

I currently own three, but have had five total. One is a commission and another included a matching tamper with presentation box.
He's easy to work with, is super talented, and one heck of a nice guy.

I do not have the measures, but it defenitly not narrow. Wouldnt say wide open as well. I can place it alittle bit narrower from my castello. Just abit..

Older Comoys definitely influence him. I think that he is currently one of best carvers in the world. Here's my lone Kyriazanos, a shape out of a 1920's Comoy's catalog.

How is the draw like in these?

Hello Paulie I always drill briar at 4mm and a long tapered 4to3mm is used on my stems. Slot is always a deep V.
