Tao pipe

My wife bestowed me with my first Tao last Christmas. It is an exquisitely engineered pipe that smokes exceptionally well. Hopefully, yours smokes as well as mine.

I believe strawberry wood suitable for pipe-making is harder to source than briar, which makes these pipes a bit rarer as well.

That is one cool looking collection. I notice you seem to gravitate towards nose warmers. Is it because you have less smoking time ?

My shortest pipe is around 5.25 and longest is a couple of Lovats at 6.5 inches. I only smoke in my home and due to physical condition rarely go out so I have no problem smoking my pipes 1-2 hours. My bowl size for almost ever pipe I own is group 4-5 with 2 6's.

Beautiful pipe! I love the craggy, irregular rings of a strawberry wood sandblast. They are usually more extreme than can be achieved with briar. Roman Kovalev (Doctor's Pipes) does some spectacular strawberry wood (he calls them strawberry tree) blasts. Here's one I commissioned from him a couple of years ago. I prefer to smoke small pipe for now exactly because time limit.
But,in my collection(not all pipes I am smoking) there is big pipes also.
You can see,as example, one of my Tao pipes in previose post.
Its a big pipe"wide and deep.
