Knute of Denmark?( Karl Eric)??

Im looking at a pipe that says knute of denmark,the seller says (karl eric)but it doesnt say on the pipe?

I don't know who made them.I had one though (a beautiful freehand) back in the seventies when I was just getting started as a pipe smoker.I really liked it,but sadly it burned through right above the shank.
