He was blueing a 1928 Lefever nitro special double barreled shotgun useing the old rust blueing method and blued this knife,he also made the holster The old cajun

It looks like it started its life as a Spyderco knife and somewhere along the way was fashioned into a cool neck-knife. What great gift! You're very lucky to have a son like that!

Bradley, that is a great looking knife. Depending on the blade thickness and length, it looks like it would make a great small animal skinner and that ring should allow for some great control. Congrats.
