Since the adaptors are among the most rare things to find, I resourced to myself and made plenty in Stainless Steel, therefore never again suffered the lack of them, the length of the hollow screw is in between the large and medium size offered by Kirsten...

The One who started All; I was looking for a metal pipe to take on trips and hitches (I´m a seaman) and not worry about my precious briars or delicate meers. Needless to say it became a passion. I have own close to 60 of them, all models and colors, Semi-bents and Full-Bents only. I have had a couple of straight only to repair and give away to friends.
I got it from "Fleebay" and sent it to Jason Bard of Bard´s Vintage Briar, who did a wonderfull job at restoring her beauty.

Actually this one got a bit more of attention than originally thought...

Do you remember her...?

samrvior: All I can say is "Wow, what a collection!" Thanks for sharing.
One question for you though, if you don't mind. Where did you get the cob bowl with the "chocolate drip" effect? I am not sure how else to describe the effect, but that is particularly interesting to me. I saw a picture of a briar pipe with that effect on it and absolutely love it. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
As long as I am asking, what kind of details do you have on that cleaning tool? Also something I am very interested in.
Thanks again!

I do not mind to share my love and scarce knowledge with the world, actually very proud and humbly.
Riccardo Santia website, and when contact him, tell him where, what you saw and read, and he will bent backwards over trying to accommodate you in his schedule, Riccardo is an artist, musician and corncob creator modifier, one heck of a guy!

Here are my humble threesome: top has a Don Warren Morta Bowl, center is a Kaywoodie bowl and the last is by Ozgur a meerschaum bowl called a cracked egg.

Did I mention that Kirsten are so easy and fun to repair and modified? here are the very first and the last time.
After trying to allocate some Meers without luck, I contacted Ozgur Sevimli, I have known worked with him quite closely and is a great person, eager to evolve and not afraid to try new things, I sent him many sketches and measurements and discussed with him over the phone and skype what I wanted, so he made the very first batch of Meers, which I got three of them. However the seat and hole in the bottom needed it some fine tuning and I resourced to myself.

Recently while cleaning a valve, I broke off a stem mouth piece.
rather than tossing it away in the trash, I resolved to repair it.

as new, by the way, the bottle of Tequila... well I needed courage and inspiration!

Samrvior, that's an amazing collection-- I'd love to see a big group shot of everything! Did the body which came with your freehand bowl have a name engraved on it? As far as I know, most if not all of those were given away or sold to important people in the pipe biz; mine was owned by Paul Reasoner, who opened the Tukwila, WA Southcenter Mall Tinder Box, where I first began collecting pipes.
I'd love to find a Kirsten reamer. But what I'm really after are cigar and cigarette holders. If you see either for sale, I'd love to be pointed at them. I bought the one cigar holder I have, a sort of pale gold tone, from Marty Pulvers; I just missed a pair on his site before that, one gold and one silver. I know the cigar holders came in three lengths, and there was a set containing five colors for ladies (I believe polished silver, gold-plated, red, blue, green).
The other thing I really want to find is a brasstone Esquire or, if I really can't find that, a Regent-- this'd be the 90s-2000s metallic brasstone. Unfortunately, my budget is never very high. The new black Designer I said that I bought this week was an enormous stretch.
