Not that much rose. Just cheap tobacco. Also really small ribbon cut.

Ok I can understand but then why don't I have the same issue with tobacco like Winslow which are very very aromatic too ? I'm really wondering if it's not due to the rose petals.

Could just be a subjective issue. Some smokers can't tolerate certain blends or varieties if tobaccos.

The same could be said of any tobacco prior to mastering the technique of smoking it. English blends though flavorful to some are easily smoked and very forgiving, but some smokers despise latakia and condemn it as trash.
