Keepin' It Smokey...

I was honored to have won a pipe from fishnbanjo's collection on ebay: a Tsuge Tokyo Cherrywood with a two knuckle bamboo shank. It arrived today and after a good cleaning-- not that it needed it--I stuffed it with Orlik Golden Sliced and lit it up. He was right, it's a great smoker!

Bamboo stems or shanks always reminded me of his pipes.

Good to see they are still going to good homes. I check the auctions occasionally but missed out on the Matzhold pipe he had.

Always good to see his pipes going somewhere they will be smoked and enjoyed. I picked up a two dot Sasieni from his collection a month or two ago, and it’s a great smoker.

I also have a Tsuge Tokyo, and it’s a great pipe!
