Having another bowl now. I really like smoking it, but the pouch note sure reminds me of Drum RYO. I've never been a fan of that stuff, even when I smoked RYO for a few years (back when it was actually cheap). I smoke and enjoy a lot of GH Kentucky shags, but there's something different and particular about this smell.

I find the smell of Drum distinctive too. Chews, or maybe just some of them, smell the same to me. I assume it's some kind of dark fired Kentucky. I don't particularly like the smell. I associate it with spit cups chewers leave lying around. Icky.
