KB&B’s Kohinoor shape is probably the rarest shape the company ever produced. I had a rough Yello Bole stummel in this shape. I gave it to a friend in the GKCPC who is a far kore qualified collector of the brand. It was probably a white elephant gift now that I think of it.

I never expected to see another, but here one is: Kaywoodie 8733K “Kohinoor” Estate Pipe 1935-1938 | eBay - https://www.ebay.com/itm/335518631279?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=4qlqu4FBQsS&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=K6SL5vSFTn2&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

I am not the seller and do not know the seller. Any ulterior motives on my part are limited to hoping someone buys the thing before temptation gets the better of me. It is a vanishingly rare beauty that showcases the craftsmanship KB&B could produce - and as a catalog shape!

It's a pretty pipe and certainly not one I've seen before. I'm sure the guys on the Kaywoodie thread would love to see it and possibly buy it.

Geez, *more not “kore”. Why does autocorrect never correct, but only create new errors?

Where is the Kaywoodie thread? I recalled there being one before my hiatus from the forums, but I couldn’t find it.

That’s really nice looking. Looks like someone snapped it up too.
And it’s gone… 😂
It went unsold longer than I expected. Truth be told, I did what I, at least halfheartedly, hoped to avoid. I almost always steer clear of restored pipes, especially pipes that have been refinished and given a salt-alcohol treatment. My plan was to wait 72 hours before making an offer. I fully believed the pipe would be gone by morning. Then, the seller sent me an offer, and there was a bit of haggling…

Well this looks familiar!

Hope it doesn’t disappoint.
