Kaywoodie blackening

Hey all, I had posted a couple weeks ago a pic of my new Kaywoodie when I first joined the forums here. I noticed a couple of days ago the left side of the bowl has begun to darken. I am posting before and current pics. Is this something normal?

Maybe that spot in the briar is more porous than the rest of the pipe?

Let's hope it's more porous.
Because the only other explanation I can think of is that you smoke hotter Angelina Jo Lee in a bikini. (Sorry no pics for you I'm at work) ::

I've got a kw super grain thats very similar to your's. I've had it since just before Christmas, I bought it new, haven't had any issues.....

Hey mate, I think you are smoker er a little hot is all. Slow your roll a bit. I had one I smoked hot about 5 years ago, turned the same way as yours. It is still going strong.
