There already is one. Long established. Produced a quality multi-day show for 20+ years (until COVID came along), had 125 paid members at one time, a national-class newsletter, etc.
It is a smaller operation today, but still alive and well.

They meet on every third Thursday of the month at Cigar & Tabac, 6898 W. 105th St, Overland Park, KS 66212, from 8PM to whenever.
Thanks! Other side of the city from me but I hope to make it down for a meeting.
I'm almost an hour away in far East Independence MO and I make it there 99% of the time, although I only work about 10mins from the meeting.
Remember, if everyone googled everything, there wouldn't be much of a forum here!
Be very, very careful about going there on a Saturday.
Especially avoid the table (it'll be obvious) that has 4-6 scary lookin' older guys sitting around it, carrying on like they've known each other for decades.
They'll draw you into an interesting pipe-worthy conversation about something, and the next thing you know you'll be late gettin' home for dinner---pissing off da wiff---AND forgot to pick up the stuff she asked you to get on your way home.
Very informal Catholic Pipe Club meeting over Thanksgiving weekend. An hour and a half from downtown KC.
Outlaw Cigar (North of the river off 64th Street) has Eccentric and all of the other Birds of a Feather Blends other than Uno and last week they still had a couple Esoterica blends from a recent drop.

How active is the greater Kansas City Pipe Club? Their website and their Facebook doesn’t seem to get updated on a super regular basis. About how many folks turn out for a meeting these days?
About 20 people, or so. Sometimes more, Sometimes less. Tomorrow is this months meeting. Next month will be the second Thursday, giving people time for readying for the holidays.
Cool, I’m really wanting to come out tomorrow but I’m moving into a new house all day and it will depend on whether I drop dead of exhaustion or not.
I was also going to try and make it to this months meeting for the first time but life got in the way. December’s meeting will be on the 12th of December (the second Thursday), correct?
Glad you asked or I would have forgotten to mention, they changed it to the first Thursday, December 5th.
