Does doesn't it, looks like it possibly was made like that. Hopefully wont matter as walls look pretty thick.
Will give it a clean and polish but just needed a pipe for my Mick Mcquaid as its ruining more delicate tobaccos i'm smoking in the same pipe.

That should clean-up very nicely, and the stem seems to be in fine shape near the button.

Little update
Got this today gave it a quick clean and fired it up smokes really well i'm very pleased with it.
The thin wall on one side is due to someone at some point has used a sander to take a small amount off probably because of scorching. Well they must of had a seriously wonky eye as its lop sided.
I will even it up when I get the chance, nothing half an hours work won't fix. I think I will end up with a nice little pipe.
