Thanks guys for the nice comments- much appreciated! It is a bit fancy I got to admit, but I really liked the silver spigot. It's a good sized pipe at over 6.5" and I expected it to go for more than I paid.

Numbersix what an awesome spigot! Congrats I am jealous. Classy yes but adaptable too. I think that pipe would go fine with a button up silk shirt or a wool sweater just as well.

A lot of luck. Recently I saw a Peterson spigot on smokingpipes that I really liked, but it was out of my price point. So I checked ebay for peterson spigots and this one popped up. It had a lot of interest so I had little hope of getting it.
I used esnipe since the end of the auction was late. I put in a max bid of $120 figuring it would sell for a lot more than that - so I was actually shocked when I got the email that said "enjoy your new Peterson"!

That's a great looking spigot - classy in all respects. I've been wanting to get a silver spigot for some time, but just couldn't see pulling the required moolah out of my wallet (mainly because it wasn't there). You got a great deal. Enjoy!
