Before I left for overseas I stopped by my local store for a new pipe to take with me. I was interested in either a Peterson or Sav, well he was out of Pete's and had a few Savs in stock. I picked out the one I liked the most and headed out, how ever with my free time I figured I would surf ebay and keep a eye out for any pipes that catch my eye. I came across this one.

It has a meerschaum lined bowl, I have another pipe by Phoenix Coronation (I never heard of them, but liked the bulldog shape, it was used purchase in washington) thats lined and I like the way it handles.

Nice lookin' smoker! I might revist Pete's later on down the road, but it would be in person so I could see the size of the pipe and check it's draw before buying. Made a little mistake buying a Peterson Tankard a little while back and ended up not liking it. I was able to trade it for another pipe which I like alot more.
Thanks for posting the pics, and again, that's a nice lookin' pipe! I really like the grain.

Beautiful pipe! Comgrats!

Since its and Army Mount, and unbanded, just be careful not to force the bit in the stem too hard. just a bit of pressure and a small twist is all you need. Good luck

That is a sweet looking Pete. Congrats and let us know how it smokes for you. I don't recall ever reading a review on a meer lined bowl.

Fine looking Peterson. They don't make 'em like that anymore. Looks like a good big bowl for long

relaxing sessions. I'd like to burn some English, Balkan II, or Cavendish in that. I've had great luck

with Petersons, none as vintage as that, but over several years. Some of mine seem to have gone out

of production, but they get even better with age, it seems to me. Safe passage.
