Corn cob snobbery exists if and when an individual mouths off about cobs being superior to all other pipe materials - to the point that said individual claims that no other pipes are worthy of smoking.
I have never ever ever seen anything like that on any forum. Ever.
It may be out there, but the majority can appreciate what the different pipes bring to the table IMO.
I have heard of a few people who smoke nothing but corn cobs, but it is usually a preference that's been decades in the making and they don't make a big deal out of it.

I have to respectfully disagree with Kevin's anti-snobbery editorial position. The only reason I smoke a pipe

in the first place is because I'm an inveterate social snob. Can't you tell by my avatar's smug, arrogant head tilt?
