I've only been smoking a pipe for a few months, and while I like aros, I have been on an English/Lat kick lately. I have some FMOTT that I got at the beginning and love, but heard about Pelican from a forum a couple weeks ago, and decided to try it. I don't know that I'm qualified to give a review, but I know that I enjoyed it. Full of flavor and didn't bite at all. The tin is cool-looking, too! I think Smokingpipes has it still. Check it out! I also have some bulk 'medium' english from my b&m and some Stokkebye's Proper English. I liked these as well.

Kingfisher was made by Germain as well I think. It is one of my favorites.
I was fortunate to stash away about 15 tins that were about a decade old. I decided to jar them up and it was a good thing, because I could pull the lids off pretty easy. The tobacco was still fine and is now aging again in jars, but another year or two probably would have dried them out.
I need to try the new Pelican. With Germain making it, its got to be pretty tasty.
