Just got back from Paul's Pipe Shop

I got some lunch with my dad, and then we went to Paul's. I nice Cayuga poker. For those who don't know Cayuga is their brand of pipe. I also got 2oz of their post office blend l, and a tin of McClelland Matured Virginia 25 that appears to possibly be from 2009.

The bowl on this pipe is made of glass, first time I've ever seen that.

Yup, I went through the whole museum, quite the collection. I'm smoking the mcclelland in my new pipe right now. It smoke great, and blend is fantastic, I've never had it before.

I don't own a Poker as of yet, but that pipe would fit in well with the rest of my briars. Congrats on your acquisition! Thanks for the pics.

Th picture of the initiation pipe doesn't do it justice. It has to be at least three and a half feet long.

They had a picture of someone using it, one person held the bowl, one held the middle, and the third person smoked it. Initiation was to smoke the pipe and walk up and down the street.

I only live an hour away, I'll have to make sure I stop by in January to take advantage of that sale.

Your new poker is sweet. Congratulations. Very nice pipe. As for the baccy, one of my favorite things to do is going for long rides to visit pipe shops with the hopes of finding a dusty old tin or two of aged va's. McClelland # 25 is a great one. In my book, that's an awesome day. Paul's is on my list of places to visit. Like coyote said, I hope they avert any impending FDA disaster and stay in business.

Nice pipe! I really need to try the Virginia 25 - only one of that series I have not tried.

And I love my Cayugas. I have several, and they all smoke great.

You do need to try it. It's fantastic.
I have another Cayuga, it's my first "real" pipe. It's an oom Paul. My first pipe was cheap Chinese junk.
