Don't know why. I mean break dancing is definitely physical, and takes strength, skill and finesse. But never figured it would be an Olympic event? What's next? Pole dancing?
Hey, this is @georged favorite event!! LOL!!
It was apparently included by the IOC to appeal to the younger generation. I saw the ladies final and thought it a lot of fun. Personally, I probably wouldn't include it. It feels like the IOC trying to be a bit too cool.Don't know why. I mean break dancing is definitely physical, and takes strength, skill and finesse. But never figured it would be an Olympic event? Look up some of the wacky ones from the first rehash of the events.Don't know why. I mean break dancing is definitely physical, and takes strength, skill and finesse. But never figured it would be an Olympic event? What's next? Pole dancing?
The Australian women’s entry was a painful thing to watch. I guess she is having a real tough time with the internets reaction.

I saw a handball final was on and, silly me, thought real handball was in the games and figured that would be a fun watch.I miss the days when the Olympics were simply tests of strength and speed. Track & field events, swimming and weightlifting. Simple.
From what I hear, weightlifting isn't even going to be an event in the 2028 games. Kind of crazy to me some of the things that are considered Olympic sports these days.
