I'll second the motion that this isn't an auction site. Members sometimes lower their prices if nothing moves, but beyond that, I don't think the membership would be happy with a lot of auction action on the threads.
You want to sell off unwanted tobaccos without gouging look at prices on Pipestud’s site as a reference.

My buddy and I are preparing a care package for a friend of his “behind the lines” in such a state.
My grandfathers family was split my the Berlin Wall, and would listen to stories of him smuggling food and other things across the border before the wall proper was built.
Never imagined we’d all sit back and watch our great nation slip into such a state, knowing what we know, with no one standing up at all.

I think that's what's happening to all of the Esoterica. Rich dudes are buying it at exorbitant prices and hoarding it so it can go in their tomb or on the funeral pyre. Gotta make sure you're cellared up for the afterlife.

If you read a little further in the rules you'd see "- The sale price must be clearly listed for each item, including lots. A lot is defined as a group of tins, for one price. (ie: Lot 6 - 10 tins of Dunhill MM965 - $100). No offers only, silent auctions, etc."
It's crazy a lot of B&Ms apparently have Esoterica in ample supply but the online shops can't keep it stocked, I suppose buying it from a B&M would put a dent in the scalping profits

The replies convinced me it was a bad idea and I have all the feedback I need at this point.

I just find my favorites from what's readily available. It's just not worth it to me to chase the "holy grail" tobaccos. I quite like a lot of the stuff K&K puts out, and most of it's not hard to find, besides some of the F&T blends.
Yeah if I found the chance to buy some Penzance or what have you I would, provided it's not from a scalper, but I'm not going out of my way to get something like that.
Just send the stuff to Steve Fallon. He's the most reliable seller on the internet. He does charge 35% for his services, but handles all the shipping and postage for shipping your items.
