Handsome pipe, for the duration. I like new pipes because I can prevent cake so they never need reaming and always have a full-sized chamber. I scoop out the ash and wipe out the bowl and maintain just a carbon layer. My 40-year-old pipes seem to appreciate it especially.
At risk of being redundant; awesome bulldog, probably my fav. Shape, bent or straight. The diamond shank juxtaposed to the circular bowl horizontaly and angular vertically just does it for me.
Maybe my eyes are playing tricks on me, but is it rounded at the bottom of the shank or is it a real diamond? In your 3rd photo from the top it looks rounded on the bottom.

The preponderant purpose of a pipe is to be smoked, and one could argue that the money spent can only be recovered by smoking. A thoroughly smoked and well-maintained pipe has been recurrently enjoyed. Not that I have feelings one way or the other; whatever you decide.
All the photos show that it may be rounded. "not enough evidence to over turn the call"! But hoppes' report when he gets it with our without clearer photos should pin it.
Ok. Didn't mean to start a confusion about what to call this beauty. Here are several other pictures that show the bottom to be slightly rounded, triangular shape.--not sharp but not completely circular. I think it might take a vote on what to call it?. Who mentioned a Hybrid? And yes, on the last picture I didn't get the stem squared--it's not a defect. Great comments, Hoppes
