Finally I succeded in correctly posting an image with Imgur's last version.

Thanks to 1coyote for underlining to delete the http from the IMG window.

By the way, this picture shows a Vauen filter pipe. Between the stem and the stummel you can see a right size tenon I use to smoke it without filter.

Carver: as I said, it is a tenon I usually connect to the stem when I make a pipe. In this case I put it loose between the stem and the stummel in order to obtain a correct draw not using the filter for which this pipe is conceived. And it works!

the thing mentioned as a tenon is more commonly refered to as a filter adaptor ,it reduces the stem drilling for a 9mm filter to a smaller about 3.5mm hole to make the stem like a normal non filter one.filter pipes are much more common here in Europe than state side.

Paulfg: I didn't know about this adaptor. Actually it is very similar to the tenons I buyed with stems from Germany.
