Cool collection, if it exists someone somewhere collects it. I collect depression glass pipe rests. Collecting with a theme or purpose is great, it provides direction.

Nice collection.
I had a couple, a pair of moccasins and a cat. I sold the moccasins and still have the cat pipe holder. I don't display my pipes, I keep them all in drawers in my pipe/ tobacco cabinet.

You see mine are empty too.

I just grab one when the mood strikes and the price is right. They are getting are to find. Oh and not a duplicate of course.

I don’t collect them but seem to keep buying them (and then filling them with new pipes ).

I think you nailed the method to this madness perfectly with the quote above.

I have three but had to go get them out of the closet. Just haven’t had anything on display, so they are in a safe place, until needed again.

I've got a nice one of a ship's captain. It holds a pipe and a bunch of cleaners, but can't use that last bit because my cat would scatter them about the house. And I've got one of a deer on the deck as it's weather proof. There are some fun ones out there. You've got a nice collection!
