This afternoon with my step-dad and Cyndi, C&D First Responder.
Now, Cyndi and I are smoking MacBaren Highland Blend.
Both of these are the new tins and I have to say very very nice!
Had a morning introductory bowl of Eileen's Dream in my Aran B5 and an evening bowl of Sunset Breeze in my Brindisi 605 with a glass of Red Stag and Ginger Ale.
With a belly full of Cabernet Sauvignon, my wife's famous pan fried potatoes and humongous Prime Rib Steak - I kicked back with a cup of Wolf Extra Dark French Roast and bowl of Billy Budd in my Mauro Armellini Calabash. Aaaahhhh!!!!!
A half and half mix, part Prince Albert, part Black Treasure in some nameless Brylon pipe.
As much as people knock Brylon, this old boy smokes well, and never gets to hot. The girlfriend knows Brylon isn't the best bet, but for the first pipe she got me, it smokes like a charm.
First smoke this morning is my own mixture of McC's Coffee/Cocoa/Caramel/Pastry bulks in an old no name smooth briar billiard. This bowl wakes my senses for a good hearty breakfast.
