John Cotton's Smyrna Question

Hey guys,

I have one lonely tin of Smyrna. As I was looking for info on the blend, I saw the post attached here. So here's the question: How close is Magnum Opus to Smyrna? I am a big fan of Magnum Opus, but this seemed like a half hearted response.

I don't consider that a replacement. MO is not as sweet or spicy or strong as Smyrna.

I'm in the same boat as you. I have one tin and a few bowls left in a jar. Just goes to show you, if you enjoy a blend...stock up.

I actually have 1 tin as well. Received it in the Christmas exchange.
