Ernie at Watch City is targeting the on-sale date for mid-November.

Full disclosure: I am the co-creator of this blend. The various mixed cut burleys provide an abundance of nuts, earth, wood, bread, mild spice, sugar, light smoke, floralness and a touch of sourness. The molasses, cocoa, anise, and sugar casings on the burleys very mildly tone them down. The matured red Virginia offers mild tangy dark fruit, earth, wood, bread, sugar, floralness, tart citrus, grass, spice, and a hint of vinegar. Its effect is higher than condimental as it almost produces secondary support. The sugary sweetness from the Maryland is very condimental. The strength and nic-hit are a couple of steps past the center of mild to medium. The taste just passes that mark, and doesn’t reach the medium threshold. Has few light rough edges which are typical of burleys. Well balanced, it burns cool, clean and slightly slow with a very consistent nutty, sweet, mildly fruity, floral, spicy, savory flavor that extends to moderately lingering, pleasant after taste. The room note is pleasant to tolerable. Leaves little dampness in the bowl, and requires a couple more than an average number of relights. Designed as an OTC style blend, it can be an all day smoke. Four stars out of four. ©Jim Amash 2023

I’ve been looking forward to this release. Although I wasn’t aware that Red Virginia would be a major player.
When I wrote "Its effect is higher than condimental as it almost produces secondary support.", that means it isn't a major player. It makes a definite contribution, but secondary support is a level below full support. Full support would make it a major player.

So...a minor major? :)
